History of B-52 cocktail
The cocktail was originally inspired by the Long ranged
bomber because of its charismatic flame and color. However, there are stories
in early days that it was named after the B-52 band. Even though the band is
also formed in 1970s with the fame of the Original B-52 air craft.
One B-52 story refers to bartender at the Banff Springs
named Peter Fich as the creator of the cocktail.Fich was an ambitious bar
tender and founder of many cocktails during his days.He used to named his
cocktails with a band name so the story suggest that he named the B-52 cocktail
with the band of the same name,

Ingredients
Coffee liqueur
Coffee liqueur is a combination of coffee and alcohol and
sugar is added to neutralize the bitter taste of the alcohol.
Irish cream
Irish cream is a liqueur similar to coffee liqueur but mixed
with cream instead of coffee.Irish cream normally use a Irish whiskey as the
base and Milk or fresh cream as the cream and also sugar is added to balance
out the strong alcohol favor.
Orange-flavored liqueur
There are a number of different orange liqueurs on the
market. Most famous types are triple sec
and curaƧao. Triple sec is a clear liqueur made from neutral grain alcohol
(essentially vodka) that has been sweetened with sugar and flavored with orange
peels.
My Favourite Recipe
My favorite is KahlĆŗa coffee liqueur and Baileys Irish cream top up with Triple sec. and in addition I like to lit up the Triple sec just to add more diversity while presenting it.Should carefully mix the alcohols because if they mixed together then the layers would not be visible. For this reason I normally add the coffee first and then by using a back of a spoon and gently pour the heavy Irish cream liqueur on top of that and repeat it with orange liqueur.
