Yala
National Park is most famous wildlife park in Sri Lanka, being the
second largest park and its location attracts tourists ans locals
every year. Yala has several layers of blocks and not all these
blocks are open for general public. Yala suits for most of the
travelers because its a paradise of birds for bird watchers and it
has a wonderful beach with white sand and for wild life photographers
Yala offers distinctive Elephants and leopards. Yala has a great
history when it comes to national parks in Sri Lanka it is one of the
very first national parks created in Sri Lanka along with the
Wilpattu national park.
Traveling
to Yala is easy, from Colombo you can take the southern express way
up to Matara and then from the coastal road you can easily reach to
Yala. Once you reached there you should find a good safari service in
case you are not driving your own off road vehicle,

only in a certain time of the year.
